Who is MEF?
The McKinney Education Foundation is a non-profit education foundation created to centralize, simplify and enhance the process of raising money for and awarding scholarships to deserving graduates of the three McKinney high schools, as well as Serenity High and LINC. MEF also has advisors who specialize in higher education admissions at all of the McKinney high schools to help students apply for and find additional funding for college.
In addition, MEF offers Classroom and Professional Development grants for MISD staff members, honors the top 10 percent of MISD graduates through the Lambda Epsilon Rho honor society and helps keep alumni connected through the McKinney Ex-Students Association (MESA).
If you would like to help young people achieve their dreams of attending college by starting a scholarship for your PTA, PTO, booster club or business, please contact Melanie Perkins at 469-742-6314.
