What is a memorial gift or a gift in honor?
A memorial gift or a gift in honor is a Planned Gift, an Endowed Gift, or a Pass-through Gift that honors a loved one, a friend, or a teacher. Once you complete your memorial gift, MEF sends a letter of an appreciation to your honoree or to the honoree’s family.
What can I support with my memorial gift or gift in honor?
Your gift can award a Scholarship, award a Teacher Grant, contribute to any of MEF's Programs, or fund the foundation's operations costs. Your gift can also be unrestricted, so the MEF can apply that gift where the MEF finds the greatest need.
