The Lambda Epsilon Rho Society recognizes and embraces academic excellence. Membership into the Society is by invitation only to McKinney graduates who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. Members are inducted into the Society at the MEF Scholarship Awards Event held each year in May.
The Greek letters, Lambda Epsilon Rho, stand for “Learn, Earn, Return,” which is the founding principle upon which all MEF programs are based. The MEF believes that McKinney students will grow into caring citizens who will one day return what they earn so others in their communities can learn.
