You can fund a scholarship either as a Pass-Through Scholarship or as an Endowed Scholarship.
A Pass-Through Scholarship is a gift of $500 or more that you may fund each year.
You can also fund an Endowed Scholarship by creating an endowment. Endowments are permanently invested funds, which require a gift of $20,000 or more to instate. Part of the earnings from these funds is awarded each year as scholarships, and part is reinvested to compensate for inflation. This system, along with the conservative and responsible investing principles of MEF's investment committee, ensures that your investment in an endowment will leave a legacy of support for education for years to come.
You can learn more about donating to MEF in the Donate section of our website.
