2009 Classroom, Professional Development Grant deadline has passed
Thank you for everyone who applied for this year's MEF Classroom and Professional Development Grants. The 2009 Classroom Grants applications are now being reviewed and will be awarded in December. Professional Development Grants have already been awarded for this year. The application process will open again in the fall of 2010.
Thank you to the more than 1,100 MISD staff members, CoServ and ISA Insurance for making these grants possible through your donations.
MEF awards Classroom Grants to teachers who have innovative ideas to continue the quality education in McKinney. These teachers propose projects that pilot a program, test a theory, enhance learning, or otherwise directly benefit students. The grant may benefit one classroom or an entire grade level. These grants are primarily funded by donations from McKinney teachers and other staff through payroll deductions.
