Applying to College
Selecting the right college is one of the most important decisions you will make. But it can be overwhelming.
Our best advice is to find the right college for you - not your best friend, or your brother, or your parents. It's your college experience and if the school isn't a fit for you, you won't enjoy it. Selecting the right college will require some research.
Use this section to pick-up information and tips to help you find and apply to the right college for you. If you need help, contact the MEF Advisor on your campus.
Some students might not be ready for college right after high school graduation. There are many options available to you. Contact an MEF Advisor to discuss what next step to take after graduation!
MEF wants to help you find funds to pay for your college education!
That's one of our main goals! Don't assume you can't afford college. With a little effort, there are several ways to make it happen.
You can learn about the importance of filling out a FAFSA form, find other scholarships to apply for and find the keys to avoiding scholarship scams.
MEF Scholarships
Applications are available each January and are due in February. Students are notified in May and awarded scholarships at the annual MEF Scholarship Awards ceremony at the end of the school year.
